A little about me, Haydee Sadler

I’ve made several posts regarding our city and the direction it’s going. I want to be “in the know” when it comes to where we are headed and the money we are spending . . . because I’m a resident of the city AND a tax payer just like you. That’s why I want to share a little of my history.

Our ”Salinas” family moved to Findlay over 36 years ago. The first school I attended was Washington School, which my father now owns as Church of the Living God and runs a hometown Christian radio from, WTKC 89.7. Yes, I’m SO proud🤗 I went to Central Middle School, now the Marathon Center for Performing Arts and graduated from Findlay High School in 1993.

After high school I served tables at Woodland Restaurant for a couple years. Yep. I served all of our downtown employees which includes Marathon, City Employees, Attorneys and many more. Over the next few years I moved on to work for a local insurance agent writing P&C then to Prudential Insurance for Life & Annuities as a Marketing Assistant. I ended up working for Golden Key Title for 10 years as an Account Manager. Documents & Numbers were my thing. I’d prepare deeds, order surveys, type up legal descriptions, prepare Settlement Statements and finish up with typing up Title Insurance polices. I’d bring happy buyers, sellers, realtors and bankers to one table to make for one smooth transaction. Each closing was its own account that I had to balance to zero – that’s the “Account” part of the Account Manager. I was a Notary Public as well. Extra responsibilities included typing up Living Wills, Land Contracts, Residential Purchase Agreements, sending out invoices and the best part of my job . . . Customer Service. I prided myself in being able to answer all the questions from our thousands of clients. If you’ve ever bought or sold a home, you can understand the details of what this transaction means. Getting private information from sellers to obtain mortgage payoffs, prorating taxes, adding in realtor fees, recording fees, survey fees, adding in mortgage amount to the bottom line number the buyer needed to bring in . . . Yes, it was a pretty detailed job.

I had a transition period of five years to be home with my youngest son, who I birthed at home, intentionally. Perhaps that may shed a little light on why Medical Freedom means such a great deal to me. Fast Forward to today where I’ve been working as a Financial Administrator for a non-profit organization, my church of 20+ years, New Life Assembly of God. A church that I’ve been deeply involved in and attend with our beloved Mayor.

I have been a member of our Worship Team for almost as many years as I’ve attended. We’ve been in youth group leadership and have led small groups. I sit on the Board of LifeWise Academy, I am part of the Reaching Women organization (fall conference details at Gateway Church are starting to shape up🤗) and I help organize the National Day of Prayer event as well as the Night of Praise at Riverside Park. “Grassroots Conservative Christian” are not words i casually use to connect with people . . . It is the essence of who I am.

This is my resume in a nutshell🐿

As a reader, a numbers girl, a seeker of truth and one who looks to the Bible as the ultimate truth and understands the times we are living, I feel it is imperative to stand up NOW. I see the plans of the world and how it has trickled down to our local government. If there’s a time to know and a time to stand up . . . It’s now!

These truths are the very reason I have taken up the baton to run this race for Mayor of the City of Findlay. I see the plans being put forth and can see the plans of the enemy unfolding before our very eyes. I’m here to bring us back to the basics. The word of God that the Constitution of the United States is based on. FREEDOM.

I will be a strong leader helping not only shape the city, but bringing us all to a place of belonging❤️ I care for my family and our freedom. I care about YOUR freedom. I care about our community and ”The Least of These” people that deal with addiction, as my mom was one of them. I care about our future and what it holds for our children – it’s our heritage.

I‘m running to be the change people want to see. The change that needs to be had. I’m here to be the voice of the people whose families lives matter and who’s tax payer dollars matter alike!

Engage me in conversation and let me know what concerns you – because what matters to you, matters to me❤️
