Findlay has a serious opioid crisis that continues to increase. Of the Pandemic/ Opioid Funds How much do we think the City of Findlay and Hancock County are spending on an effective solution? I’m looking into the numbers myself and will report my findings.
In this article, serious and legitimate concerns arise. “Will that massive tranche of money be used to help the people who suffered the most and for programs shown to be effective in curbing the epidemic? Or will elected officials use the money for politically infused projects that will do little to offer restitution or help those harmed?”
Just from the numbers I’ve gathered in building downtown and other city projects, my guess is the latter.
