Findlay’s Opioid/Drug Problem and how Hancock Public Health is contributing

Findlay’s Opioid/Drug Problem –

As a candidate running for City of Findlay Mayor I have expressed concerns over the direction of our city. While our local government attempts to “Build Back Better” with all the state grants they can get, they’ve failed to take care of our community. I can tell you that I care enough to address these issues. It doesn’t matter how big & beautiful we build the city (and I’m all for that), when the core is rotting.

Take a close look. Hancock Public Health has received $311,850.00 through Federal & State grants. In 2022 70,878 syringes were distributed. Did you know that you only have to travel 1,000 feet away from the facility to use them? This is the same Health Agency that masks you up, tracks you and promotes the 💉 for your “Health & Safety”. 🤨

I will address this issue upfront. Is Findlay complicit to the drug problem since they are providing syringes through the “Syringe Safety” program under “Harm Reduction”? I‘d say this plan/idea/theory is more harmful than it is effective.

What are your thoughts Findlay?

Let’s have a conversation about it.

VOTE Haydee Sadler for Mayor, May 2nd!🇺🇸. I’ll bring the change the city needs to see.
